HOW TO FIND US

The SAVITT MEDICAL LIBRARY is located at the north end of the University of Nevada Reno campus in the Pennington Medical Education Building.

From I-80: take the Virginia St. exit. Turn north on Virginia Street. Then drive approximately 2 miles: the UNR campus will be on your right. Pass the Lawlor Event Center and the Nevada Historical Society building. Across from the 7-11 store will be 17th Street. Turn right on 17th St. At the second stop sign you will see the School of Medicine complex on the northeast corner of the campus intersection. Public parking meters are located on the south side of the building. Use the west entrance of the Pennington Medical Education Building and you will walk right into the SAVITT MEDICAL LIBRARY.

From 395N or 395S: take the McCarran Blvd West exit. Drive west approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left on Virginia St. Stay on Virginia St.: through one stoplight. Just past the stoplight and across from the 7-11 store is 17th St. Turn left from Virginia St. onto 17th St. At the second stop sign you will see the School of Medicine complex on the northeast corner of the campus intersection. Public parking meters are located on the south side of the building. Use the west entrance of the Pennington Medical Education Building: walk straight ahead into the SAVITT MEDICAL LIBRARY.

From the campus shuttle: both Route I and Route II have a School of Medicine stop. The School of Medicine is located on the northeast corner of the campus intersection. Use the west entrance of the Pennington Medical Education Building, walk straight ahead, and you've found your destination : the SAVITT MEDICAL LIBRARY.
