Receiving Materials

• The Savitt Medical Library offers a variety of delivery methods: mail, fax, e-mail, or web delivery. To receive and article via e-mail, put a valid e-mail address in your profile and indicate which method of delivery you prefer. An e-mail address is required in your registration in order for you to order any needed material through the Savitt Medical Library.
• Once you have registered with Loansome Doc or Illiad you will receive confirmation within the next working day from our Illiad system that you can use the Savitt Medical Library Document Delivery/ILL Service to order needed material.
• Allow 48 hours to one week to receive an article. You will be notified by our Illiad system by e-mail when your article or book order has been filled or not. Allow a minimum of two weeks to receive a book which must be picked up at the Savitt Medical Library.
• You can inquire on the status of your Loansome Doc or Illiad requests by logging into your Loansome Doc or Illiad account to find out about the status of your orders.
